Mural Work

Working large is an exciting challenge for any artist. The opportunity to have the time and space to create large scale, outdoor artwork is one that I have enjoyed and look forward to doing more of in the future.

For this mural, the clients knew they wanted to have a luna moth but were open to all ideas. Since the luna moths they saw were always at night I decided to create it with a moon and stars background. The garage door area is about 10"x 7", and near to the front door, making the mural a fun and welcoming accent to the home. Follow the images below and see how the painting comes to life.
